Magic of the Waltz I was only five years old, when I heard a waltz for the first time. It was Johann Strauss' "The beautiful Blue Danube". My father, who was conductor of the Limburg Symphony Orchestra, played it as an encore in one of his concerts. Suddenly the atmosphere changed. Everyone in the audience started to smile. I saw the joy on people's faces. Even as a small boy I understood that this wonderful music had the power to make people happy - that it was magical. Every night, everywhere in the world I invite my audience to get up from their seats and dance with us. I can’t tell you how fantastic it is to see people from every continent waltz to our music, whether they’d be young or old. You will find every sentiment in a waltz. Happiness, joy, melancholy, and love. And last but not least, do you know that it is scientifically proven that waltzing is good for your health? So a waltz a day keeps the doctor away! Isn’t that magical?

Magic of the Violin (compilation) "When I was small, only five years old, my mother gave me a violin. From that moment I had only one dream: when I grew up I wanted to go on stage and play to lots of people. I wanted to make everyone in the world happy with my violin. I didn't care how long it took me to get there. And now my fans all over the world have made that little boy's dream come true. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!"
Love in Venice - Special anniversary edition! The Vrijthof concerts have been going for ten years! For this tenth concert series he had the Vrijthof square specially decorated in Venetian style, complete with a Doge’s Palace, Rialto Bridge, a fabulous Italian fountain and a colourful Venetian masquerade. LOVE IN VENICE is an evening full of wonderful Italian music, world hits like Funiculi funicula, Tiritomba and Vieni sul mar and fabulous operatic arias. For the occasion of this anniversary, the Italian singer Rocco Granata came to sing his world hit Marina. But of course André would never forget the Viennese waltz.
